How to distinguish between good and bad sponges?

First, look at the appearance of sponges. Good sponges look neat and smooth and some inferior sponges look rough and uneven.

Second, touch a good sponge. Good sponges feel smooth and soft, while inferior sponges feel rough.

Third, use fingers to pull the sponge. Good sponge has a good tensile property, not easy to break, and inferior sponges are easy to break off and even produce dust.

Fourth, look back, pressing the sponge with hand, it can rebound quickly.

When adjusting spongs, basically feeling and flexibility is the first judgement. When touching, it  should be soft and strong extendability.
